FIELD COMMISSIONING

When you work with Pieper Automation, we make sure that you have the support you need to ensure successful implementation of our solutions. When we install one of our systems, we will be on site to work with your engineers to train them on installation and maintenance, and we will stay on site as needed to make sure that the system runs smoothly.

Pieper Automation provides hands-on commissioning, onsite support during the startup process of your integrated system, for all projects. Our experienced engineers will come onsite during the commissioning process and perform a number of steps and checks to ensure your startup up is safe, reliable and stable for your production environment. Our goal is to test, calibrate, startup, and ensure production meets your specifications.

We start with an I/O checkout process to ensure all wiring is correct, field device inputs and outputs are working properly, and devices are giving the correct signals. Our service team will perform a visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection to ensure a trouble free startup. This process helps reduce the unexpected that often plague smooth startups and impede the commissioning process. After a complete and thorough inspection is done the system is then powered up to confirm that it meets all specifications based on customer/production requirements and industry standards. Once commissioning activities are completed, a dry run will be performed to ensure the main line is running and calibrated properly as well as we will record drawings, complete operation and maintenance manuals, ensure client access, and perform user training and demonstrations.

TRAINING

Our job is not done until operators understand how their new system works and are comfortable controlling it. Our service team offers on-site training customized to the operator’s level of expertise. We offer personalized hands-on, on-site training for your control upgrade or new system as well as offer additional training for your operators, electricians, and maintenance technicians. Training topics include standard operation procedures, troubleshooting, and other application specific needs. We also offer remote troubleshooting and will send technicians onsite as needed. We have a highly qualified service team dedicated to customer support, and they pride themselves on quickly and efficiently resolving any problems that may arise. Our goal is to help our customers maximize the benefits of their investment.
